Our verdict
8.0/10Wynn is the Strip casino to pick when you want space, daylight and a proper poker room more than a crowd. The floor holds over 1,800 slots with bets up to 1,000 a spin, and Wynn Rewards pays 5 of freeplay per 500 slot points. Rooms and fees are the premium. Skip it if price is your main filter.

Most Strip casinos compete on volume: louder, brighter, more bodies per square metre. Wynn does the opposite, and charges for it. The question for a gambler is narrow. Does a quieter floor, better light and a poker room with a reputation justify paying more than you would at the resort next door? For some visitors, yes. For anyone who plays low stakes and watches the room bill, it does not.
Gambling is entertainment with a built-in house edge. Nothing about a nicer carpet changes the odds on a slot or a blackjack hand.
The floor: two rooms, one clear idea

The casino page describes two gaming floors, Wynn (spacious) and Encore (intimate). It lists more than 1,800 slot machines, with denominations up to 1,000 per play, and mentions high-limit salons. It gives no table count, no floor size and no minimum bets. We would rather say that than guess, so check the posted minimums at the table, particularly on weekends, when Strip minimums rise.
The floor is open 24 hours. The Race & Sports Book hosts free weekly events, and the Wynn Sports Nevada app allows wagers from anywhere in Nevada. The resort also promotes a Wynn Slots app that it says offers a chance at a complimentary stay. Read the sweepstakes rules before you chase it.
The poker room
Wynn's own pages say the poker room offers cash games and tournaments, and that its hours differ from the casino's. They give no stakes. A third-party guide on Pokerology lists daily no-limit Hold'em at 1/3, 2/5 and 5/10, pot-limit Omaha, mixed games at 9/18 several times a week, and a 10/25 game at weekends that does not always run. It also reports that the room takes a rake of 10% up to 5 with no jackpot drop. That is one outside source, and rooms change rake without notice, so confirm with the poker desk.
What is better documented is the tournament side. PokerNews reports the 2026 Wynn Summer Classic schedule, including a 10 million guaranteed championship. For a tournament player, that guarantee is the reason to book.
Rooms, offers and what the premium buys

The rooms page sells every room and suite as a serene retreat, and that matches what we expect from a resort priced at the top of the Strip. Rates move by date, so we do not quote one. Wynn's pages also do not list the nightly resort fee or parking charges, and the FAQ we read pointed to a hotel information page without figures. A 2026 parking guide on Vegas Always gives self-parking at 25 a day for non-guests and valet at 40, with free self-parking for registered guests. Confirm the resort fee when you book, because it can add a large amount to a short stay.

The offers page lists seasonal packages and member deals. On the casino page, Wynn Rewards members get up to 30% off rooms and up to 20% off Tower Suites, with no blackout dates. Slot play earns FREECREDIT at 500 points for 5, redeemable on select reel and video poker games with a PIN. If one point is earned per 1 coin-in, that is a rebate of roughly 1%, though Wynn's page does not state the earning rate, so do not budget on it.
How it compares with the rest of the Strip
The honest comparison is with other upscale floors, not with the budget end. Against a mass-market casino, Wynn will usually cost more per night and offer fewer cheap tables. Against its closest rivals, it competes on atmosphere: natural light, wide aisles and a separate Encore floor for players who want a smaller room. We did not find a published table-minimum list from Wynn, which means the price of a hand of blackjack is something you learn on arrival, not before. That gap matters more than any slogan.
For slot players the case is clearer, because the 1,000-per-spin ceiling and the sheer count of machines suit high rollers, while the free-play scheme returns little to small players.
Verdict: who should pay for Wynn
Pay for Wynn if you play poker tournaments, enjoy high-limit slots in a calm room, or want the whole stay in one polished place. Skip it if you want cheap table minimums, a tight budget or the cheapest room near the action. The free entry means you can visit without staying, which is the sensible test: walk the floor, check the table minimums, and decide before you book.
