Our verdict
7.4/10Mecca is a sound UK bingo site with the cheapest tickets we found (1p in Penny Lane), a clear 5x wagering rule on the bingo bonus and withdrawals the site says land in about 15 minutes. The welcome offer is fussy, the voucher terms contradict themselves, and the sums on offer are small. Good value for low-stakes play, not a place to chase jackpots.

The question with any bingo brand that began in a building is whether the online room feels like the building. Mecca's does not, quite, and it does not try to. What it does offer is the cheapest ticketing we found on a mainstream UK bingo site, a bonus with wagering you can actually finish, and a cashier that pays out fast. It also has a welcome offer that needs three paragraphs of careful reading.
Start with the ticket prices
Bingo is a small-stakes game, and the interesting number is what a game costs. The bingo lobby lists rooms at 1p (Penny Lane: Bargain Bingo), 5p (Supersonic, Turbo Gold, Age of the Gods) and 10p (Dab and Blab Live, Main Event, Two Little Ducks, Deal or No Deal 90 Ball). Lucky for Some: FREE Bingo costs nothing, and a free Penny Lane Power Hour runs every night from 8pm to 9pm.

At 10p a ticket, a ten-ticket game costs £1. At 1p, the same ten tickets cost 10p. That is how a £5 deposit stretches across a whole evening, and it is the strongest argument for Mecca over a slots-heavy site where £5 can vanish in a handful of spins.
The prize figures shown beside rooms are modest for most (£20 to £125 in the lower rooms), with larger progressive jackpots in a few: the page lists £82,571 on Deal or No Deal 90 Ball and £22,695 in several 90-ball rooms at the time we looked. The page does not say whether those are fixed jackpots or pools, so do not plan around them.
90-ball, 75-ball and the odds you can control
Most rooms run 90-ball bingo, with a 9 by 3 grid and prizes for a line and a full house. There are also 80-ball (4 by 4) and 75-ball (5 by 5) formats. The one worth knowing is Best Odds Bingo: each player gets 10 tickets and rooms cap at 25 players, so everyone has identical chances. Note that the welcome bonus excludes Best Odds Bingo, Deal or No Deal 75 and 90, and invite-only rooms.

The welcome offer, line by line
New players get a choice between two rewards. The bingo one is the better of the pair:
Deposit at least £5, then play at least £5 on eligible bingo games.
You receive a £20 Bingo Bonus and a £10 Club Voucher.
The bonus needs 5x wagering on bingo, so £100 in play on a £20 bonus.
It expires 30 days after being added, and any remaining balance is forfeited.
Five times is low. Many UK bonuses ask for 30x or more. With 10p tickets, £100 of wagering is 1,000 tickets, and a few evenings of play gets you through it. The slots alternative gives 50 free spins on King Kong Cash Even Bigger Bananas at 10p each (£5 of value) that must be used within 7 days.
Two traps. PayPal and Paysafe deposits do not qualify, and PayPal cannot be used for a first deposit at all. And the Club Voucher terms disagree with themselves: the club-redemption clauses say it is for use in a club, while other clauses list bingo, slots and food. It arrives by email within 72 hours with a QR code. We would treat it as a club-only voucher until Mecca says otherwise.

Paying in and getting paid out
The payment methods page lists Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay, instant bank transfer and Paysafecard. Deposits start at £5, or £10 by PayPal. Credit cards and American Express are not accepted, which is a sensible protection under UK rules.
Withdrawals are the headline. Mecca says most are processed instantly and reach your bank within 15 minutes, with Fast Withdrawals enabled for all major banks and PayPal. Visa and Mastercard withdrawals that are not on Fast Withdrawals take 1 to 3 working days. The minimum withdrawal is £5. We read these claims on the page, and we recommend you test them with a small cash-out before relying on them, since affiliate sites quote slower figures.

There is one oddity that bingo nostalgia fans will like: Mecca Cash Out lets you collect between £10 and £100 in cash at a Mecca club before 9pm the same day, with your membership card and photo ID. You must contact Support first, and bonus balances cannot be withdrawn this way.
Does it feel like the club?
Mecca leans on its estate, and the clubs page and the apps page push a lot of club imagery. The online rooms have chat hosts and themed games such as Dab and Blab Live, which has a £40K jackpot window from 8pm to 10pm. It is lively, but it is a lobby with chat boxes, not a Friday night with a caller. If the social side is why you play, go to the club and use the site for midweek.

The mobile apps for iPhone, iPad and Android are covered on a dedicated page, where Mecca says its app was named best mobile bingo product at the 2019 EGR Awards. That is a 2019 award.

Verdict and a reminder
Mecca rates 7.4 from us. It earns that on ticket prices, a bonus with 5x wagering and fast, fee-free payouts per its own page. It loses points for a muddled voucher, the PayPal exclusions and prize sums that are small beside the big UK brands' headlines.
Keep it in proportion. Bingo is entertainment with a built-in house edge, not a way to make money, and a £5 bonus is not a strategy. Set a deposit limit, stay 18 or over, and stop when the money you set aside is gone. UK help is available from GamCare and BeGambleAware.
