DraftKings Casino Review: Dynasty Rewards Run the Numbers

DraftKings Casino offers up to 1,000 Flex Spins, an in-house game slate and a rewards ladder that returns about 0.09% on slots. We did the sums against what BetMGM and FanDuel players expect.

Our verdict

7.8/10

DraftKings Casino is a polished, licensed real-money casino in five states, with a welcome offer paid in small daily spin batches rather than a lump of bonus cash. Dynasty Rewards looks generous but returns about 0.09% on most slots, so treat it as a bonus, not a reason to play. Strong product, thin loyalty value, and a five-state map.

Best for: Players in NJ, PA, MI, WV or CT who value polish and DraftKings sports ties

What we liked

  • Licensed and regulated in five states with age and location checks
  • Welcome offer needs only a $5 wager and pays up to 1,000 Flex Spins
  • Crowns never expire and 550 Crowns convert to $1 with 1x wagering
  • PayPal, ACH, wire and cage cash supported, subject to state and account

What held it back

  • Dynasty Rewards returns about 0.09% on slot wagers, and less on tables
  • Flex Spins are non-withdrawable and expire 24 hours after you pick a game
  • Withdrawal speeds are not published and extra ID checks can delay payouts
  • Only five states, and the game library differs between them

DraftKings Casino's loyalty scheme is the part its marketing likes best and the part that deserves the most scrutiny. So we started there, with a calculator. Then we looked at the welcome offer, the five states where the casino operates, and the rest of the package.

One caveat up front. DraftKings blocked our automated access to its casino pages, so the offer terms and loyalty rates below come from independent reviews that read the live terms, and are marked as such. Verify them in the app before you rely on them.

Dynasty Rewards, converted to dollars

Dynasty Rewards pays in two currencies. Crowns are spendable. Tier Credits (TC) set your status. According to iGamingNJ's guide, most slots earn 1 Crown per $2 wagered and 1 Tier Credit per $10. Most table games earn 1 Crown per $8 and 1 TC per $40. Crowns convert at 550 to $1, with 1x wagering on the result.

Do the maths on slots: $2 wagered earns 1 Crown, so $1,100 wagered earns 550 Crowns, which is worth $1. That is a return of roughly 0.09%. On most tables, $4,400 of play buys that same dollar, or about 0.02%. Crowns are a sweetener on top of play, not a rebate worth planning around.

The ladder is where the real perks live, and it is expensive:

  • Silver at 5,000 TC, which at slots rates is $50,000 in wagers.

  • Gold at 25,000 TC ($250,000 in slot play).

  • Diamond at 90,000 TC, adding an annual gift and a possible invite to the separate VIP programme.

  • Onyx at 175,000 TC.

Silver gets four double-Crown days a month. Diamond gets five triple-Crown days. These help, but even tripled, 0.09% becomes 0.27%. Crowns never expire, and tier status lasts the rest of the year you earn it plus one further calendar year, which is the best feature of the scheme.

The welcome offer, in small instalments

The welcome offer is not a bonus-cash match. Per Pokerfuse, new customers opt in, wager at least $5, and receive up to 1,000 Flex Spins: 50 on each of 20 daily logins. The first two days carry 100 spins at $0.50 each (about $50 of face value), and days 3 to 20 carry 900 spins at $0.20 (about $180). That is around $230 of spin value, spread over three weeks.

The terms are strict. Spins are non-withdrawable, single-use and expire 24 hours after you choose a game. You need to log in on all 20 days to collect everything, and Pokerfuse lists the offer as ending November 22, 2026. Flex Spins suit patient players. If you want to take a lump of credit and leave, this is the wrong offer.

Other reviews we found describe different shapes for the offer (500 spins plus lossback credit, or a $2,000 bonus at 15x), which tells you how often these promotions are rewritten. We used the description with the most detail. Read the opt-in screen.

Five states, one set of rules

DraftKings Casino is live in Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. You must be 21 or older and physically inside a live state, with location services on while you play. Electric Poker is offered only in Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The game library differs state to state, so a title you saw in a review may not be in your lobby.

Wikipedia lists DraftKings as legal for betting in 26 states as of December 2025, but that is mostly sports, not casino, so do not read it as a casino footprint.

Payments

Deposit and withdrawal methods vary by state and account. Pokerfuse lists PayPal, online banking via ACH, supported prepaid options, wire transfer, cash at select casino cages, and check where available. Gift and prepaid cards generally can't be used for withdrawals. One review claimed PayPal and Venmo withdrawals are processed within 24 hours, but from one source only. DraftKings does not publish a fixed speed, and extra identity verification can add delay.

For a regulated site that is normal, and it is the right moment to say what we did not verify: we have no first-hand payout timing for this review. Make a small withdrawal early, before you build a balance you may need to wait for.

The pitch to existing DraftKings customers is a single wallet across casino, sportsbook and fantasy, and a catalogue that includes proprietary and branded games. Pokerfuse does not name any in-house titles, so we cannot rank them. What the link does give you is DK Dollars: Crowns can convert to DK Dollars usable across casino, sports and fantasy at the same 550-to-1 rate, plus Casino Credits that are casino-only.

The company was founded in Boston in 2012 and bought Golden Nugget Online Gaming in May 2022. It has had regulatory penalties too: a $1.3 million settlement with the Massachusetts Attorney General in 2017, and a $200,000 SEC fine in September 2024 over how it disclosed revenue information.

Versus BetMGM and FanDuel

Every one of these brands sells the same thing: licensed slots and tables in a handful of states, a welcome offer, and a loyalty scheme. We do not have comparable verified figures for BetMGM's or FanDuel's current offers, so we will not pretend a precise ranking. What sets DraftKings apart in our reading is the daily-instalment welcome offer, the unusually long-lived Crowns, and the shared wallet with its sportsbook. If a rival offers a single lump of bonus credit with low wagering, that suits a different kind of player.

Verdict

DraftKings Casino gets 7.8. It is a polished, regulated product and the $5 trigger on the welcome offer is easy to meet. The loyalty maths holds it back: 0.09% is a rounding error against the house edge.
